I have base with one version . Need to display the version name in the content of the mail. How can we implement this in XMITIP ? If we code base(0) it should show version name in the body of the mail. Please help me on this

XMITIP (+
to address +
) +
Subject ' Test ' +
FILE (XXX.YYYY.ZZZ) +
MSGT '
Please look into version QUAL.ERROR.N01(0) . '

And how is this relevant to JCL?

XMITIP is a separate product, talk to its developers!

And do you mean version, which is the bit after the V, or generation number, the bit between G and V?
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

Both G and V. Suppose for the above base it should display like this in email body QUAL.ERROR.N01.G001V00
