Hi all
Actually for past 1year i was working in an MNc as software developer here too i was under the unique tool known as bluphoenix appbuilder,nebula,this tool has unique coding structure and has its own standards and instructions once we finish the coding in this tool we can convert it into cobol loadmodules etc.only thing i will use mainframes is jcl that too not very deep just callling the procs which will have the system id of my source code dats it..My problem is how i can search jobs outside with my profile..and i was in the core banking product i have gained lot of business and functional knowledge with this job..can anyone guide me so that i can calibirate my future and place in a good job...

You might talk with your manager or the mamager of some other group within your organization to talk about a career path within that organization. If you tell them what you want to do next, they may have advice on how to accomplish this.

Another possibility is talking with people who have already followed a similar path and lean how they made the transition.
