Buffer Pool Tuning

Postby jaggz » Thu Jun 14, 2012 8:53 am

Dear All,

Could anyone please enlighten me the importance of creating the tablespace with BufferPool size of BP0 ? Does it mean if a table space with BP0 would consume more Auxiliary storage when a millions of records are loaded ?

Could anyone please explain me the above fundamental of having BP0 ? Is it good to have BP0 for a small shop ?

the 0 in BP0 is not the size, it is just a number.
bufferpool tuning is not something to explain in a forum post.
I can explain it to you, but i can not understand it for you.
