when CA-7 will bring a job from RDY queue to ACT queue

- what are all the conditions that CA7 should satisfy to bring a job from RDY queue to ACT queue.
- what was the logic behind it.

Can any one please explain in brief.

With Regards,

Why on earth do you think it matters? This sounds more like a homework question to me. This also sounds like a question you need to go find the CA-7 manuals and read for a few minutes -- hours -- days -- weeks -- however long it takes you to find the answer yourself. Or, go to the CA web site and open a problem report with them to find out their answer.

My best guess -- not based on reading manuals -- is that the job would be moved when the requirements are satisfied. For a triggered job, probably when the triggering job finishes; for a scheduled job, when the schedule time is reached. For a job with requirements to be posted, after the requirements are posted. The mere fact that your question does not consider triggered jobs versus scheduled jobs versus jobs with requirements tells me you didn't put enough thought into your question before posting it. And I haven't even considered how look backs would figure into the process!

Hello and welcome to the forum,

If you had the "perfect"m answer, how would this information be used?
Hope this helps,
