Hello,

Was the internal sort using input/output procedure? Did the program attempt to issue a goback or "stop run" before the sort completed?

Does this program use database?
Hope this helps,
d.sch.

The file the program was abending while processing was a compressed file (Macro4's VSAM Lite), and the vendor has taken ownership of the problem. It was a VSAM AIX PATH we were reading when the abend occured. This issue will be resolved via PTF by the vendor.

Thanks for your help!
