Report writer

Postby msolis » Thu Mar 15, 2012 8:02 pm

I am trying to produce a report with report writer using DJDE parameter and is not functioning. How does this work, I am defining the djde parameter as a
detail line.

don' t You think that simply telling
... is not functioning
is just a waste of time.

what about looking inside Your organization for code snippets , or ask Your peers
or look at the manuals ?
cheers

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

I am trying to produce a report with report writer using DJDE parameter and is not functioning.
Possible ways to interpret this include (but are not limited to):
1. you are getting no output and the program is completing normally
2. you are getting no output and a user abend in your program
3. you are getting no output and a system abend in your program
4. you are getting some output (just not all of it) and the program is completing normally
5. you are getting some output (just not all of it) and a user abend in your program
6. you are getting some output (just not all of it) and a system abend in your program
7. you are getting all of your output (but the DJDE isn't taking effect) and the program is completing normally
etc
etc
etc -- not to mention describing the interaction with JES

Without you providing more details, do you expect us to read your mind about what, precisely, is happening?
