Postby sankar.guna » Thu Jul 17, 2008 6:30 pm

Hi all :)
Is it possible to implement a line break and page break for a flat file for which the record format is Variable block ( that consists of Variable length Tables ) when we try to import that to a fusion server for Printing ?

Thanks in advance

Regards,
Sankar.

Hello,

Probably - but. . . You've lumped several basically unrelated thoughts into your question. . .

What is a "fusion server" and how does it differ from other servers?

What do you mean by variable length tables?

If you create a "report" on a mainframe, it should be printable anywhere that the mainframe has a printer destination defined (fusion server or otherwise). If you simply create a file, it may or may not be printable everywhere. . .

If you show a representative sample of your data and what you want to happen, somone may have a suggestion.
Hope this helps,
