Have you tried the manuals? I have some old IDMS manuals so they may not contain the info and they are upstairs tucked away and I do not have time now to go and look for them - I am already 3 hours late for work!
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

Suggest you download the documentation from CA Support. If your organization is licensed to use the product, all of the material may be downloaded free - all you have to do is register (which is also free).
If you find something in the documentation that is not clear, post what you found and your doubt - someone here may be able to clarify.
