Hello,

Just because a dataset is not cataloged does NOT mean it is no longer on the system. What do you see if you list the vtoc of the volume where the dataset was originally cataloged?

Check with your storage management people and learn if rolloffs are automatically deleted on your system.
Hope this helps,

OK. Thanks for letting us know that the system is doing what it said it would do.

Why do you want to reduce the limit while there are still datasets in it?
