Renaming sereval Tape



JES, JES2, JCL utilities, IDCAMS, Compile & Run JCLs, PROCs etc...

Hello,

we need to have the tape (physically). We just want to suppress the alias X. not the tape...

We are going to suppress it. So we will have only the alias Y.


the alias of a dataset is not like an alias of Elvis
the original must still be alive :mrgreen:

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort
