zVM Performace Toolkit 5.3

Postby WhiteDissonance » Wed Mar 25, 2009 4:52 am

Hi everyone! I have a question regarding zVM's Performance Toolkit (v5r3). When trying to configure the web access, in releases 5.2 and below, I normally add the following in the FCONX $PROFILE so that authentication can be "file-based" with FCONRMT PASSFILE:
...
FC MONCOLL WEBSERV ON TCPIP TCPIP 81 IDTEST FILE FCONRMT PASSFILE *
...

With that line, the authentication goes to the FCONRMT PASSFILE and looks for the user/password to enter the performance toolkit's web

But when I tried to configure it in the Performance Toolkit 5.3, it seems as if it doesn't recognize IDTEST anymore...the authentication method is now based in the VM User defined in the user direct...Is there any way to keep using the FCONRMT PASSFILE authentication method or the new release of Performance Toolkit changed it? I don't want every VM User to have access to the web-based Perfkit, only those that I want to include in the passfile...

Thanks in advance for reading this post! :D
