I would suggest that if it is 'on demand' then there is no cycle so it is non-cyclic. But F1 should confirm that.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

I don't understand what you are trying to achieve. If it's an on-demand job, why do you need a period associated with it?

Hello Blackthorn.

I would like to associate a specila perid named DEMANDE because it's easier to extract (in the futur) all applcations which are on demand.

In TWS, in the "XRF OF ITEMS - Cross reference between different items", i will chose tyhe name o the period "DEMANDE" :

Command ===>
 Select a maximum of 5 items by entering the digits 1 to 5 below.
This indicates the sort order of the cross reference list.

APPLICATION ID     ===> 1
APPLICATION TEXT   ===> _
PRIORITY           ===> _
PERIOD/RULE NAME   ===> 2
RUN CYCLE TEXT     ===> _
OPERATION          ===> _
OPERATION TEXT     ===> _
JOB NAME           ===> _
JOB CLASS          ===> _
FORM NUMBER        ===> _
SYSOUT CLASS       ===> _
WS RESOURCE 1      ===> _
WS RESOURCE 2      ===> _
SPECIAL RESOURCES  ===> _
CALENDAR ID        ===> _

Well if you're not actually using the period to control the running of your schedules, then it doesn't matter how you set it up. You can put any old rubbish in there.
