Yes - clear the screen and write the requisite number of blank lines. However, you can only position to the first column.
Now:
a) you may not have a clear screen utility
b) look at the manual for Rexx - does it mention anywhere positioning the cursor at a certain point on the screen?
c) Yes, you can do it on the PC but the mainframe is NOT a PC.
d) Why do you want to do this?
e) Use ISPF panels if you want to do full screen work with Rexx
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.
Regards
Nic
