I was able to open the editor in RPF after starting with TSO EDIT, thanks. But then I had to learn the RPF commands. I only created a helloworld program but lost everything when I tried to save. I think It's time to call it a day before I go nuts. The idea was to get kicks for cics installed then start having a go at cics in cobol.
