How to locate a record from a ISPF model set being display?

Postby ocjohnh » Sat Nov 30, 2013 3:51 am

Hi,

I have used TBSARG and TBDISPL to display a sub-set of columns on screen, now can I have some easy ways to
do a search particularly for this sub-set of data but not looking into the whole table.

I tried a tbscan again but it seemed to me that the 2nd tbscan were looking into the whole table instead of solely focusing on the sub-set of columns.

Any help!!

I haven't tried it by myself. But maybe you could simply repeat the TBSARG invocation just before the TBSCAN. And remember that you should not use the ARGLIST parameter as the use of this parameter overrides the search argument set by TBSARG.
