Hello venkatck and welcoem to the forums,

Is it possible to copy a sets of records from a database to temporary PS through JCL
This depends on how you define "jcl". JCL has to execute something and that "thing" may be able to do what you need.

If you describe your dbms, what the table looks like (not the entire definition, just enough work with), and what you want the output to look like, someone may have suggestions.
Hope this helps,
d.sch.

Hello seclitor and welcome to the forums,

i will tell in short while
Until venkatck describes the database system used and the data requirement, it will be difficult to provide suggestions/solutions.
Hope this helps,
d.sch.
