for sorting recordson condition

hello everyone
I wanted to sort the records based on the values and replace it with new record at the end and have blanks at the earlier Place...i.e from 30-35 if its 546454 then i have to put 'dfg4353' at 251th postion and put spaces at 30-35th position...
could you plaese help me out..
