Hello!

I need some help because I am stuck with a task. I need make a report of jobruns, how they are scheduled, daily weekly or monthly maybe..
It is a so called produktion rewiew. Unfortunately the scheduling tool I use provides me a false outcome when I want to create report like this, it gets lost with the dependcies and triggers...
Is there any possibilty to create such rewiew about the members of a pds?

Which scheduler? Which job archiving product?

The Scheduler is a company specific software, not available anywhere else. But as I mentioned above, the tool in this software dedicated for this task gives false information(had to realize that after 3 days of testing). This is why I am looking for a built in solution. The job archiving product belongs to the scheduler. I guess I have the ansver now, since I can gain information only from the scheduler I can not make reports based on for example sdsf. Or am I wrong? Any help appreciated.

Unfortunately, as you will comprehend, sysouts are unlikely to persist on the spool or in your RYO archive long enough to provide a valid picture of your schedule. Moreover, it is also unlikely that looking at the sysouts will reveal the dependencies between jobs (my shop's proprietary scheduler -- which only runs on our development sysplex; we use Control-M in production -- uses JES3 DJC for this purpose, but is unusual in doing so).

I recommend that you find the person(s) responsible for maintaining the scheduler code, and use whatever combination of carrots and sticks are available to you to have the reporting function fixed.
