What does JOB FLUSHED mean?



JES, JES2, JCL utilities, IDCAMS, Compile & Run JCLs, PROCs etc...

What does JOB FLUSHED mean?

I am new to mainframes,Please anyone help me what is the meaning of "flush " at return code

The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

When a job step does not execute (which can be for a number of reasons), that step is identified as flushed by the system.
