SMTP is not working in production environment

Hi All,

Sorry if I am asking a question which is already answered in some other topic.

My application has a job which sends email to users using SMTP. The job completed with return code 0 in production environment but user raised issue telling they are not receiving any mail. When I ran the same email step in test region with my email id, I got the mail as expected.

Any one has a suggestion about what could be the issue in production environment or how to check ?

As stated elsewhere, you absolutely MUST contact your site support group -- the issue could be that SMTP is not running on production, or that the SMTP task has a different name on production, or that SMTP uses a different message class on production, or .... And these are the types of issues that nobody on this forum can help you with -- only someone working at your site can help you.
