Trigger mail based on execution time of the job

Postby debabrotadas » Fri May 13, 2016 5:24 pm

Hi All,

I need one help on the below requirement. It will be great it you can help me out.

There is a requirement from my client like to trigger a mail to Prod team if the execution of Jobs is greater than a specified time. For e.g if a Job is executing for an 1 hr then a notification mail to be sent but of low priority, if its after 4 hrs a medium priority and after 6 hours a high priority. But it should not interfere the main job cycle.

I have tried using time parameter but it was not a proper solution according to the requirements.

Thanks,
Das

ask Your scheduling support team what kind of exception processing/handling is available
in the product You use ( like late-start , late-finish and friends )
cheers
enrico
When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort
