Hi,

Can anyone help me with resolving this JCL error:-
Do not code SPACE parmeter with sequential data sets

I want to know the reason behind this error.

Show us the relevant bit of JCL with the line numbers that are at the left and show us the error message. Both pieces of information must be cut and pasted from the spool and using the code tags to display in the post.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

Though there is not much to go on with, but the friendly oracle says it might be a JCL checker tool's message; unless TS confirms otherwise. The verbiage doesn't seem to appear in IBM MVS System Messages guide.
