Hello,

i am running an adrdssu and it abned with a RC=8 with this message :

ADR101I (R/I)-RI01 (01), TASKID 001 HAS BEEN ASSIGNED TO COMMAND 'DUMP '
ADR109I (R/I)-RI01 (01), 2018.184 11:26:44 INITIAL SCAN OF USER CONTROL STATEMEN
ADR137E (001)-RI01 (01), TOO MANY CONSTANTS/ENTRIES IN LIST BEGINNING AT 'DATASET.XX.FC
ADR131E (001)-RI03 (01), ABOVE TEXT BYPASSED UNTIL NEXT COMMAND

I have lots of entry in my ADRDSSU about 2500 but i can't find how is the limit in ADRDSSU and i can't user * or % because i have to put the dataset one by one.
The better is to separate the 2500 entires but i can't in how many... may be 1000 by 1000 entries ?

It is, I believe from memory, mentioned somewhere in the manual, along with how to get around the problem.

The DFDSS Storage Administration manual tells you
The FILTERDD keyword must be used if you have more than 255 entries in the INCLUDE, EXCLUDE, or BY filtering lists. The FILTERDD keyword specifies the name of the DD statement that identifies the sequential data set or member of a partitioned data set that contains the filtering criteria to be used. This is in the form of card-image records, in DFSMSdss command syntax, that contain the INCLUDE, EXCLUDE, and BY keywords.
