Hello,

C= is the abbreviation for CARDS= - an estimation of the number of "cards" to be punched by this job.

right now the "cards=" is too old parameter, can we delete it from jcl? thx.

Many times a special SYSOUT class for emails, etc. may be defined as a "punch" class even though no physical cards are created. Before removing the parm you need to ask at your site.
