Hi,
In my earlier projects I worked for having XJEM / PREP to check the JCL without running JCL with TYPERUN=SCAN. My current shop dont have any of this, I tried with all the commands which was posted in the IBM JCL forumn [XJEM/JSCAN/JEM/VER/VES/JCLCK/PREP/JCLPREP/EJCK NOLIST/!JCK/VALJCL/JJ] but nothing is working.
Is this XJEM / PREP is a tool needs to be bought from IBM / is it a rexx program which I can set? Please let me know, those commands were really helping & saying most of my time.
Thanks
Kota

Re: Syntax check
I see that there are at least three different third-party tools for JCL Syntax Checking:
Unicenter CA-JCLCheck from CA.
XREFPlus from Seasoft.
ASG JCLPREP from ASG.
Unicenter CA-JCLCheck from CA.
XREFPlus from Seasoft.
ASG JCLPREP from ASG.
