REFORMAT command in FILEAID utility

REFORMAT command in FILEAID utility

Can anyone tell me the use of REFORMAT command??? does this reformat the input file based on the given copybook?? Below is the statement that i came across...

//SYSIN DD *
$$DD01 REFORMAT OUT=0,REFOUT=ALL

Hello,

Please post all of the jcl/control statements for this job.

I suspect this is a simple file copy that does not need a copybook.
