Thank you for your hints, I got a guidance in the yesterday post that for continuation we have to insert a non-empty character in the line 72, Is it the case nicc?

Kind regards

Not in JCL; just in control statements for IEHPROGM, IEHLIST, and IEHMOVE. As Mr. Sorichetti suggests, post the output.

OK - now line 10 has disappeared - for those who wondered it was the end-of-job indicator (//).

Now - what continuation are you talking about? If you are talking about continuing a JCL statement over multiple lines then read the JCL method of continuing JCL statements in the JCL manual.

The TS does not understand enough to be able to give us the data required to provide assistance. If the actual JCL is as has been posted, the "EXPECTED CONTINUATION NOT FOUND" message would not appear. Furthermore, the TS is taking an answer about IEHPROGM and inappropriately attempting to apply it to JCL without having even the slightest clue about JCL, or IEHPROGM, or even what problems the posted JCL has or could have.

gyaa, you need to go back to class and you need to sit there until you learn something. It is apparent by your posts so far that you have not done this. You don't read and think about what others are posting, so naturally you are not learning from what you are being told. I, for one, have provided data from the manual which you have ignored and I see no reason to further respond to any of your posts.

Just a final note - // is NOT the end of a JCL statement: it is the end of JOB.

I do believe that you have asked more questions - without learning much - in the last 3 or 4 weeks than all the students posting here put together.

As Enrico says - your teacher/tutor is paid to teach you so get him/her to teach you.

I am locking this and other recent topics.
