dump error



JES, JES2, JCL utilities, IDCAMS, Compile & Run JCLs, PROCs etc...

hi all friends
Red error
Please Help Me
How do I fix the following error message?

* DUMP DATA SET FULL- DUMP ENDED WHILE WRITING GLOBAL
* ERRORID = SEQ01064 CPU00 ASID 0041 TIME06.24.29.1


OS: Z/OS v1.8
SYS1.DUMP01 IS 100% FULL
SYS1.DUMP02 IS 100% FULL

How do I empty the data sets or backup?

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

  • I would agree with Mr. Sorrichetti and Billyboyo about emptying the data sets yourself. There are two methods you can use, but I'd rather not give you any ideas.
  • z/OS 1.8 has not been supported by IBM for several years now. Why is your shop still using it? Not that it's any of my business!
