question on gdg..

Dear experts.
I have a question related to gdg.
Question is as following.
I have a gdg and i have defined its maximum limit to 100. But I want to take backup of generations in a flat file before 100 generation. As after 100 all generations will deleted according to parameters defined in gdg base.

So how can I achieve this.....Your suggestions are valuable to me..

What sort of backup do you want? How big are the datasets? What are the backups to be used for? Answering these questions will help point people in the right direction for a suitable answer. After all, you can back up using ADRDSSU, a copy program (IEBGENER, sort) or rolling them into one dataset.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

NicC is correct. Years ago I had a process that rolled the generations into a single PDS with member names GxxxxV00. I might be able to retrieve the process, but I can't see reusing the process.
