LOAD Libraries and DFHRPL

Hello,

The volume on which one of our CICS load libraries rests, has become full following which we are unable to add any new members to this load library.
We wanted to move this library to a seperate volume. The problem is since the CICS region is up and running, the load library in question is allocated to CICS (DFHRPL concatenation) and we are unable to rename this library.
The options that I can think of to achieve the above:
a. CEMT SET LIB DIS; but the CICS manual very specifically states: The LIBRARY named DFHRPL cannot be disabled or discarded.
b. Bring down the CICS region and then perform the maintenance activity - this is the last resort

It'd be kind if someone can point a way in which the existing load library can be renamed/move so that the new one (on the free volume) can be allocated to CICS region.

Thank you.

PS: I think DADS product can be of assistance here; but we do not have it. We're on CICS TS 4.2; z/OS 1.13

Bringing down the region is your only choice. And having CA-DADS would NOT help you -- it allows you to change the DFHRPL concatenation by adding or removing data sets from the concatenation but from what I can tell in the Internet literature it will not allow you to completely remove the entire DFHRPL concatenation (but since I haven't used the product, I cannot say for certain).

Aah, so I am stuck with this one until the next recycle.

Thank you Robert; all I needed was to have this library to be de-allocated/not-in-use by CICS for a few moments, in which I'd swap the load libraries.
Like Yoda would put it - Not doable, it is - without a CICS recycle.
