CICS RDO definitions

Hi,

We have a AOR (CICSTA) and TOR (CICST1) regions. Recently we have made some changes in the application definition and moved couple of applications from one of the test region CICSTD to CICSTA and made all the changes to the RDO definitions as well.

Previously the set up was, CICST1 is the TOR region for CICSTD. As part of decommissioning CICSTD we moved the applications to CICSTA. Now CICST1 is the TOR region for CICSTA.

The transactions in TOR region having the attribute: "REMOTE SYSTEM:". In that we have made the change and it is pointing TA region only. But when I try to execute the transaction in CICST1 it is showing the message as TD region is not active.

I could not find any issues with other application transactions. It is the issue with only one application. Can anyone explain me what could be the reason that it is pointing to CICSTD?

Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks,
Sridhar A

Hello,

Can anyone explain me what could be the reason that it is pointing to CICSTD?
Not what you want to hear, but something was not changed. . .

Suggest you work with the CICS system support people to resolve.

One thing you could do is search every library that has CICS "pieces" and find where CICSTD still exists.

Possibly try a CEMT I CONN to see what your connection is actually pointing to?
