ISPF Configuration Utility

Postby poojithas » Wed Feb 17, 2016 4:37 pm

Hi,
I want to enable VSAM browse, edit feature through File Manager, so I am using ISPF Configuration Utility, and where in it is asking for Keyword File Data Set.
So what is the ISPF system default keyword file data set name on z/OS 1.13

And do you think your site will allow you to update it with what you want, causing numerous headaches for your support, as they will not be able to reproduce your problems?

And there is no system default keyword file..

As stated, the data set name depends upon what the site wants to call it, and rarely are two sites using the same name.

My friend owns a zPDT system and I am trying to help him on the configuration. Yes, he has full authorization to change.

"Your friend".

Why isn't your friend on the z1090 group on Yahoo!?

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

sorted it out, thank you all for your support.
using the configuration utility, start with blank keyword file, generate, make load, and feed it to logon proc.

Cheers,
Poojitha.
