Hello,

Log on to tso/ispf and select option 3 (Utilities).

On that panel you should see these selections near the bottom:
14 Search-For  Search data sets for strings of data
15 Search-ForE Search data sets for strings of data Extended
Hope this helps,
d.sch.

hi,

instead of that u can directly go into the PDS and type the command "SRCHFOR <STRING>" in the command prompt.
It 'll show u the members that contains that specified string.

If you want a batch job, option 3.14 will allow you to generate JCL for a batch job. Change the PARM to handle different situations.
