File Tailoring

Postby eprasad629 » Thu Jun 11, 2009 12:06 pm

Hi,

I have a requirement to build a JCL after reading a input file. I have designed a few skeletons for the purpose which should be tailored based on the content of input file.

Could you please let me know the command by which I shall create a temp file and include the skeletons to build the JCL.

Thanks and Regards,
Praelay.
Thanks & Regards,

What code does the ISPF Edit Model for File Tailoring give you?

Hi Spock,

I'm using a rexx code that will tailor the JCL skeletons. The result will be a complete JCL.
Thanks & Regards,

Yeah, I know what the ISPF File Tailoring services do. Is there a specific question here that can't be answered by either using an ISPF Edit Model for the File Tailoring services, or by referring to the appropriate ISPF Development documentation?
