I want to look (in SDSF) at one of the many jobs that is submitted every day to assemble CICS maps, copy the JCL, and adapt it for my own needs. How to do it?

Thanks.

How will you know which job is a CICS map compile? Is this your dilemma? Why not ask someone for their sample?

Once you identity a job name, do a STATUS jobname in SDSF to display and select it with line command SJ to see the JCL.

Difficult, as this is on the FanDeZhi system...

I'll give him some help, he followed my advice, and I don't see any jobs on the output queue that assembled maps, so have a look at CICSTS23.CICS.ADFHPROC(DFHMAPS)

Hello,

copy the JCL, and adapt it for my own needs.
Unless there is something special about "things" you do not want to do this. . .

You should use the system standard compile/link jcl, not some kludge you put together. . .

As I wrote, this is on the FanDeZhi system, where everyone has his or her own standard, like the Indians who don't watch jobs sorting 10(!) items clocking up in excess of 36,000 seconds of CPU time...

Yup, saw that but don't know what it is. . . Thought this was a system and/or user you are familiar with.

where everyone has his or her own standard
