Hello,

All of those abbreviations have multiple "full forms".

If you post the full forms you are looking for, someone may be able to provide a more useful reply.

Hi ,

'PDF' refers to Program Development Facility
'ISPF' refers to Interactive System Productivity Facility
'SPF' refers to System Productivity Facility.

Thanks

As far as mere mortals are concerned there are no differences - just history

all the acronym are related to ISPF
( with different marketing rules )

SPF ==> Structured Programming Facility
early seventies the ancestor of the whole shebang

ISPF ==> Interactive System Productivity Facility
the successor of SPF, had two components
DM ==> Dialog Manager
PDF ==> Program Development Facility
orderable and priced separately, DM being a prerequisite for PDF

now DM and PDF are bundled in the current ISPF offering
