Hi All,

Did anyone knows how to get the FTP access without defining OMVS segment and also dont have the access in the RACF - BPX.* profile in the Facility class.

The Communications Server: IP User's Guide and Commands manual states:
1.4 What you need to get started

TCP/IP is a part of your z/OS system. To use it you need a TSO user ID and password. If you are already a TSO user, you can begin using TCP/IP.

In order to use z/OS Communications Server for V1R10 applications, you must be authorized to use z/OS UNIX System Services. For information about z/OS UNIX, refer to the z/OS UNIX System Services User's Guide.
Since FTP is a Communications Server application, you must be authorized to use UNIX System Services to use FTP.

Contact your site support group and get them to define the OMVS segment for your TSO user id.
