DB2 Cursor in COBOL-DB2 Program

Suppose I have PGMA and PGMB both COBOL-DB2 programs. PGMA is calling PGMB. Now it is possible to define a DB2 cursor in PGMA and do the FETCH and other commands in PGMB?
