Hi to all,

I'm a new joinee in a company,
I have done certification in mainframe .

In my office my guide ask me to find some DB2 asnwers.

here is the question ..

what is cluster index?

I know the concept what cluster Index. I explained.

But they are specially asking for which type of table we are using the clustered index??

i can't able to find the answer for this in search.

can anyone knows..?
plz share.

It is all up to the application design and how you want to process data. So if you are using clustering index with only one type of tables in other shops they might be using it in different situations. From my point of view you can exclude temporary tables, XML tables and Materialized query tables, so there aren't so much left :D
