hi,
my goal is to restore selective tables from archive using IBM DATA RESTORE. but i got this error when trying to restore required table/s ;
XTS9-129 SQL error (sqlcode= -702,sqlerrd1= -160,sqlerrd2= -78)
XTS9-153 Database server message(7)
XTS9-194 SQLERRP(ARIXRSS)
XTS9-162 SQL stmt: . ÃŽ .066
and job terminated with return code 16.

please help me on this issue.

my environment is
DB2 SERVER FOR VSE 7.5
VSE 4.2
DATA RESTORE 7.3

You need to look in the messages manual for whatever software generated the XTS9 messages.

I am not familiar with sqlcode -702 (nor is the IBM DB2 Messages & Codes manual).

What happens if you try to restore everything rather than selective? I ask, because the problem may be that there is no connection between this process and the "server".

thanks for your response dick. problem solve.
sqlcode code -702 occurs b/c of shortage of index pages in data restore dbspace. just increase the index pages for that dbspace and issue resolves.

Same problem facing while restoring whole database.

for your information, SQLCODE -702 written in DB2 messages and code for VSE.
m using DB2 for IBM Mainframe Z10bc under OS (VSE).
