Connect to Remote location

Postby maragatham » Thu Dec 09, 2010 12:47 pm

Hi,
I am trying to execute a SPUFI in UAT for which I recently got access to.
I am adviced by my DBA to do the below:

’10 CONNECT LOCATION DB2UAT01’
When I did this the error code was:

DSNT408I SQLCODE = -104, ERROR: ILLEGAL SYMBOL "DB2UAT01". SOME SYMBOLS THAT
MIGHT BE LEGAL ARE: IS

Please can you advice?

Hello,

What is the "10"?

Suggest you read here for the correct syntax:
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/ ... sqj10/5.20
Hope this helps,
d.sch.
