Plan and Package for New DB2

Postby jaggz » Fri Jun 17, 2011 10:33 am

Hi,

We have installed a new db2 subsystem in our shop. Could anyone suggest me or direct me the way to create a package and Plan , so that we can try do a bindpack and bindplan. I tried looking at the DB2 Admin guide but I was not able fetch any details about creating a plan and package . This is required for our sandbox system where we can tryout out some minimal db2 dba admin activities.

I'm sure that, during installation , some binding has taken place.
What "minimal db2 dba admin activities" would you try out if you don't know how to bind?
I can explain it to you, but i can not understand it for you.

Hi Guy,

I am just trying to trace the Resource code for compilation, so that i can create a load module and a DBRM. Then i can Use Bind command to DBRM to db2 as Plan or package. Yes during installation there were some Bind steps.
