Can we set trigger between Oracle table to db2 table

Postby ritikasingh » Tue Jun 28, 2011 8:13 pm

Hi Friends,

I have an Oracle database which is having online updates, also i have a db2 database same as Oracle.table defination is same.
Is there a possibility that if any update/insert happen in Oracle table a trigger is set at oracle so that DB2 tables also get the same insert /update automatically. So that i dont have to reate a process to capturing those inserts/update inflat file , ftpING TO DB2 SERVER from oracle, RUNNING JCL etc...
