Hi , When I try to insert a record (via SPUFI in DB2 V9) into a table with no RI defined but just 2 Check constraints defined get the follwoing error. The error does not relate to the Check constrains. Table does not have any triggers, functions or stored procedures defined. Can someone tell how DB2 generate this error ? Any further reading material etc. please. Thanks in advance.

DSNT408I SQLCODE =,-438,,ERROR: APPLICATION RAISED ERROR WITH DIAGNOSTIC
TEXT: ' area code does not exist in AREA'

Thanks everyone, I have managed to locate the error and it's raised by a trigger via SIGNAL statement.
