HSM DUPLEX

Hi I was trying to list only the duplex tapes for a client using HSEND LIST TTOC but could not find the command.

The reason I am doing this is to find out if it has been marked full.

The parmlib definitions say

SETSYS /* DO DUPLEXING FOR ALL ML2 TAPES */ -
DUPLEX(MIGRATION(Y))

and then again in the same member

SETSYS DUPLEX(MIGRATION(Y ERRALT(MARKFULL)))

Not sure why it has been written twice in same member. However there was little information on ERRALT all I could google was if tape duplexing had issues it will be marked full the duplex tapes.

So will it be marked full even under normal good duplex?

I have a DR come up and I have to send these DUPLEX tapes to DR site do I have to issue some command to mark them full or are they good?



I am the storage person but out of touch with HSM from 4 years.
