Need help with a DUMP ADRDSSU topic

Postby zxdalma » Mon Oct 26, 2015 3:50 pm

Hello all,

I currently have a JCL running an ADRDSSU that DUMPs files on a GDG tape.

ADRDSSU SYSIN is as follows :

DUMP OUTDDNAME(DJP0C001) OPT(4) SHR -
DATASET(INCLUDE(WGPT.SCADUC.DJP0*.Z31WGP.**))
IF MAXCC LT 5 THEN SET MAXCC=0

After GDG version is created and catalogued; is it possible, also using ADRDSSU, to add more files to a DUMP that already exists?; If yes how?.

Many thanks

Hi,
You can alter the GDG version limit through IDCAMS but not the already existing GDG dataset.
Better you can run the jcl again with all files included in the SYSIN.
