Hi - i have a request to recover a rolled off GDG. It used to reside on disk.
I have found a DCOLLECT which ran against the storage group it belonged to and looking in the DCOLLECT dataset the GDG is listed there.

Can this be recovered? If so could you kindly give me details how to do this?

I am a trainee Storage Administrator so i'd appreciate any help

If the file is on a backup somewhere it can be recovered from the backup. If not, it is most likely gone.
