Need REXX code to compile and to create the GDG bases.

Hi all,

I want a REXX code to compile a jcl and to create a GDG bases which were not catologued. Can any one help me in this please?

Do you mean compile as in "create an executable load module" or do you mean "create a list of items"?

I read your request as:
- search for uncataloged GDGs
- create a JCL job stream to execute program IDCAMS and DEFINE base entries for them
- then catalog the GDGs?

Correct? or can you explain the steps in your process in more detail?

You don't "compile" JCL; you submit it to the system to execute it.
