DEDB database full issue

Postby PA2405 » Tue Oct 28, 2014 3:56 pm

Hi,
I am working with the support activities. As part of this received one request which says error in insert in database.

I looked into the issue it says Databse is full-

Corresponding database is a DEDB, Fastpath database. In total 5 areas are defined for it.

When I use /DISPLAY DB (dbname) IMS command, it lists down all the area and allocated and free space. For my database, it shows sequential dependet area is NA as it is DEDB and Direct addressable areas are more than 60% free. So I asked the DBA about it, he said issue came because of the Index space is almost full.

Now each area is defined as ESDS and non indexed, and I couldnt find if any secondary/alternate index is defined for it.

Can anyone tell me if there is any way I can find index space statistics for this database??

And how the index space can be almost full but database is above 60% free?? What can be the causes which are making index space full??

Thanks in advance !!!

A DEDB cannot have indices unless using a third-party product.
