Need a compile jcl for a idms program.

Hi
I Need a compile jcl for a idms program.i dont want to compile it through endevor.Please advice.

Hello,

You need to use the system standard compile jcl. You should not use some non-standard jcl gotten on a forum or somewhere else on the web.

If any such jcl is posted here, it will be deleted. . .

If your organization has standardized on endevor and you don't want to use it - change organizations. Why should you be allowed to deviate from the system standard?

I needed it because i wanted to test the program changes outside the endevore first before moving them in to endevor!!!

Suggest you check with your seniors or the endevor support people. One of the main ideas behind formal configuration management (CM) is that all complie/test is done using the standard jcl and procedures. If it is all right to compile outsode the endevor environment, they will have the "other" jcl you should use. Again, something standard, not retrieved externally.
